Juan and Jorge grew up as first-generation kids in a single-parent household, living paycheck to paycheck. What they had wasn't money—it was family and a few stuffed animals that meant everything.
Those plushies weren't just toys. They were presence. They were something to hold when the night felt long and lonely.
